Our Vision
Blue Horizon envisions a future where plastic waste is managed sustainably, significantly reducing its environmental impact. While plastic pollution remains a challenge, we aim to make a meaningful difference by transforming even the hardest-to-recycle plastics into reusable resources. Through the expansion of pyrolysis plants across regions, we support a circular economy, reducing dependence on new natural resources and minimizing plastic’s footprint to help protect ecosystems and communities.
Our mission
Blue Horizon is on a mission to increase the value of plastic waste by transforming it into valuable resources through enhanced recycling. Our focus is on creating a circular model where even challenging, low-tier plastics—like packaging waste—are processed through pyrolysis, converting them into high-quality oil. This oil can eventually serve as a sustainable alternative for producing new plastics, eliminating the need for virgin materials and significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
Blue Horizon consists of a team with extensive expertise in renewable industries and a proven record in developing and operating recycling facilities. In 2019, we launched a pilot plant in the Netherlands, capable of recycling about 9,000 tons of plastic annually. This pilot paved the way for our new and state-of-the-art design—a larger, more efficient, and more productive facility that elevates productivity and operational standards. Its standardized model ensures consistent, high-quality recycling outcomes and ease of replication across various locations.
